US Navy - Weapon Acquisition, Test & Evaluation, Integration
DCS Corp's Eglin AFB Office provides acquisition, financial management, engineering and integration support, test and evaluation services, mission planning support, and logistics management services for Air Force and Naval aviation.
JASSM
DCS provided on-site engineering to the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program Office at Eglin AFB, Florida.
DCS provided support for the technical and programmatic aspects of JASSM operation in the including defining test requirements, scheduling, and test support for electromagnetic effects, carrier suitability, and aircraft integration.
DCS provided support for the JASSM Missile Avionics Simulator (MAS), which mounts the missile seeker, missile control unit, and navigation hardware in a pod onboard a UH-1 Huey. The helicopter descends over a target area to recreate the terminal phase of the missile profile in order to gather algorithm performance data in support of developmental and operational missile launches.
JDAM
DCS provides on-site support for the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) at Eglin AFB, Florida. Fully integrated into all aspects of the JDAM office, DCS provides support for the technical and programmatic aspects of JDAM operation for both JDAM and Laser JDAM.
DCS supports test and evaluation by maintaining the flight test databases for JDAM weapons development tests and flight profiles. DCS provides technical and managerial support throughout the integrated logistics support (ILS) spectrum, including maintaining and updating the Navy JDAM Inventory & Expenditures & Deliveries Report, Navy Condition Code Report, and Monthly Production Inventory.
DCS manages the design and development of the JDAM mission planning support systems vital in the deployment of JDAM to the end users. DCS provides financial support at Eglin AFB, Florida, and at Patuxent River, Maryland, to the JDAM budget and finance team. This effort includes inputting test data and supporting a number of databases and associated systems to effectively provide Cost estimating & cost performance analysis and track Commitments/Obligations/Expenses.
SDB II
DCS supports the Small Diameter Bomb Increment II (SDB II) program in the areas of Weapon Acquisition, Test and Evaluation, Aircraft Integration, Integrated Logistics and Financial Management.
DCS is working directly with the F-35 Joint Program Office and Lockheed Martin Aero in preparation for SDB II integration. This effort is defining the aircraft/weapon integration requirements, determining test assets and test schedule, and developing funding estimates and budgets in support of the integration effort.
DCS also provides logistics support through the development of the SDB II Integrated Logistics Assessment (ILA) checklist/requirements, System Performance Specification (SPS) inputs for DoN Airworthiness for BRU-61 capability, and ensuring logistics requirements are addressed.
