Team DCS Support

Team DCS support, provided via the task order process, will supplement organic government efforts in research and development, acquisition, testing and sustainment, but will not provide personal services, nor perform inherently governmental functions.  The task order process may, on rare occasions, accommodate a quick reaction support process when circumstances require an immediate reaction.

The Team DCS A&AS will fall into three major categories:

  • Management and Professional Support Services that provide assistance, advice or training for the management and operation of organizations, activities (including research and development activities) or systems. Included are efforts that support improved organization of program management, logistics management, project monitoring and reporting, data collection, budgeting, accounting, performance auditing and administrative technical support for conferences and training programs.
  • Studies, Analyses and Evaluations that provide organized, analytical assessments/evaluations in support of policy development, decision-making, management or administration. Included are studies in support of R&D activities and acquisition of models, methodologies and related software supporting studies, analysis or evaluations.
  • Engineering and Technical Services used to support the program office during the acquisition cycle by providing systems engineering and technical direction to ensure the effective operations and maintenance of a weapon system or a major system or to provide direct support of a weapons system that is essential to research, development, production, operations or maintenance of a system.

Team DCS outputs may take the form of information, advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, recommendations, training and services. Additionally, Team DCS may perform defined scope tasks that result in a deliverable including, but not limited to, studies, analyses and reports.
