Training Solutions

Front End Analysis

The most important part of designing training to meet educational requirements is the front end analysis (FEA). This process is performed by our instructional system designers to determine your training needs before development begins.  Working closely with our clients and subject matter experts (SME), we analyze the job tasks to be performed, identify the knowledge and skill requirements for each task, perform a media analysis to assess the current training delivery capabilities, recommend new training development and delivery technologies, and provide cost and lead-time comparisons to help determine the best training solution for our customers. Learning objectives and learning objective statements are developed for each job task for quicker transition to content design and development.

Standardized Process

DCS Corporation is continuously improving the quality of solutions and services we provide to our customers through a corporate-wide quality management system (QMS) that is registered to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. From proposal to project close-out, our standardized processes ensure the greatest attention to product quality and customer satisfaction.als, and assessment materials.

Interactive Multimedia Instruction

If interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) is the best solution for your training needs, we provide sharable content object reference model (SCORM®) 2004 learning content that may include a combination of options to meet your educational needs. Your training may include such user tools as: interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM), graded and ungraded assessments, PDF manuals, video clips, digital photography, automated schematics, 2D and 3D Flash animations, hardware/software emulations, scenario simulations, outlines, glossaries, references, and other user help tools. All content is developed to operate on SCORM® 2004 conformant LMSs and can be delivered as an HTML version for plug-and play training or use on local intranet servers. Our developers can also create scenario based simulations for use in conjunction with or inclusion in your IMI to add more hands on training when other hardware resources aren’t available for student practice exercises.

Instructor Led Training

Your instructional requirements may include a classroom/lecture environment where real-time feedback, opportunities for questions and answers, and a curriculum customizable to the instructor’s style is desired. We deliver training solutions for the traditional ILT environment setting to include lecture formats, training aides, lesson plans, manuals, and assessment materials.

Computer Aided Instruction

Incorporating the principles of education and the benefits of web-based training into our CAI encourages the interaction between the instructor and student.  We develop robust training tools that incorporate interactivity with face-to-face training to include interactive Flash animations, check-on learning and practice exercises, scenarios, and discussion points.  CAI is developed to allow the instructor the freedom to teach the material in any order or to enhance the learning with additional learning aides or personal knowledge. In addition, we offer the capability of developing trainee guides, instructor guides, or any training aides required to meet the learning requirement.

Graphic Design Solutions

An effective training package would not be complete without an interface that is engaging, appealing, and familiar to the user. Our graphic artists can design or recreate your images and graphic user interfaces (GUI) to ensure your end users associate your training with your organization.

In addition, we can assist you with the design of brands, logos, graphics for presentations, brochures, print media, web design, interactive presentations, brand identity materials, and other media to help you articulate your message to your audience.

Collaborative File Management

Managing remote clients for DCS Corporation is made easy with our web-based file storage system. This password protected system allows each user to share, collaborate, and search for files and documents used during the development project. Files are automatically version controlled to maximize configuration management and available 24/7 for review and feedback flexibility. Online files simplify the review process, saving time and money for our customers.

SCORM® Compliant Content Development

We understand that just delivering a product that meets your training requirements today is not enough; therefore, we develop your content as non-proprietary and SCORM® conformant so your training packages can easily transfer and evolve as your delivery needs and training requirements change. Additionally, we deliver all development and completed source files to allow for cost effective, manageable lifecycle maintenance.
From needs assessment to delivery of functional learning applications, we employ systematic methodologies and apply industry standard models of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation that target your project goals. We tailor each training package design and deliver a stand-alone product for instructor-led training (ILT); computer-aided instruction (CAI); self-paced interactive courseware for learning management systems (LMS); and stand-alone personal computer based training products. Each product is unique to your program and to the environment in which the training will be delivered.
