DCS offers nearly 30 years of experience in evaluation, integration, and test of imaging sensors, multi-sensor fusion concepts, hyperspectral sensors, and image processing for target acquisition, missile seeker, C4ISR, and machine vision applications.
Typical client engagements include:
- Providing programmatic and systems engineering support in the integration of advanced targeting sensors on U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aircraft such as the F/A-18 Hornet.
- Developing custom instrumentation for sensor data collection and analysis in laboratory, flight test, test range, and manufacturing environments
- Applying our understanding of physics-based phenomenology to development, VV&A, and use of analytical models and simulations of advanced sensors in tactical and space-based environments
- Providing staff expertise in human factors engineering and visual perception, to optimize information transfer at the sensor Man-Machine Interface.
- Supporting DoD laboratories, MDA, and PEO/PM customers in the analysis, acquisition, and integration of laser, radar, and GPS navigation, to countermine, robotic/unmanned systems, advanced C4ISR, and missile system applications.
- Supporting development and built four flight-worthy reconnaissance pods for F-14 fleet evaluation of advanced completely digital large format cameras, data link, and solid state recorders.
