DCS provides full life cycle management support for systems acquisition and sustainment for Army, Navy, USMC, MDA, DHS, and Joint DoD customers. Our staff uses their Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certifications and experience in the development of weapons systems, C4I network-centric architectures, and information management systems.
As a pure play business, we are able to support acquisition strategies and perform critical technical assessments objectively, without business ties to large weapon system manufacturers. We directly support component Service Headquarters, Program Executive Offices, and Project & Product Managers for integrated weapon systems – from development and demonstration through production, fielding, and post production support. Our acquisition support includes:
- Acquisition planning
- Contract & business administration
- DoD 5000 program documentation preparation
- Systems & manufacturing engineering
- Test & evaluation planning
- Integrated logistics support
- Liaison services for Joint programs with multiple Service interest
DCS deploys acquisition management and engineering expertise on-site in active participation with customer integrated product teams (IPTs) to ensure program success.
A DCS distinctive respected by our customer base is the ability to provide reach-back capability to our corporate technical staff, who apply expertise in simulation-based acquisition and state-of-the-art knowledge in C4ISR, sensor, advanced electronics, and knowledge management core competencies to complex major weapon development programs.
