As the overall benefits package does vary from year to year, use this information as a guide to your search.  Your actual benefits package will be defined in your employment acceptance package.

Comprehensive Medical

DCS offers two self-insured group health plans: a traditional PPO plan as well as a High Deductible Plan with a health savings account.  Effective date of coverage is the first day of the month coincident with or following date of employment.  The medical plan includes a prescription drug benefit.  Out-of-network coverage is available.

Dental Benefits

Network coverage is available for preventive, basic, major, and orthodontic services.  Effective date of coverage is the first of the month coincident with or following date of employment.  Out-of-network coverage is available.

Vision Benefits

In-network coverage includes eye exam and lenses covered after applicable co-pays; frame and contact lens allowance; extra discounts and savings offered for cosmetic options.  Effective date of coverage is the first of the month coincident with or following date of employment.  Out-of-network coverage is available

Flexible Medical Spending Accounts (FSA)

Pre-tax benefits are available for health care or dependent care in accordance with current regulations.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

DCS provides basic life insurance at one time annual salary.  Optional life and dependent life are available.

Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance

DCS funds this benefit entirely and enrollment is automatic. The short- and long-term disability benefit provides 50% of base salary up to a maximum per week (STD) or per month (LTD).

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

The ESOP is a company-funded deferred compensation plan that allows employees to earn ownership stock in the company.  Every employee over the age of 18 becomes part of the ESOP on their first day of employment. Allocations and vesting begin following completion of one year of service during which 1,000 hours of service have been attained.

Deferred Salary/Profit Sharing Plan — 401(k)

DCS offers a 401(k) benefit to employees starting the first of the month after hire.  Employees may contribute pre-tax monies to their 401(k) account up to the IRS-specified annual limit.  Employees are 100% vested immediately.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Paid time off is accrued each semi-monthly pay period based on years of service.


DCS observes ten paid federal holidays a year, four of which may be used as floating holidays.

Educational Assistance

All fees, books, and tuition costs will be reimbursed up to100% for approved courses within a 12-month period. Two courses may be taken per semester.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

DCS offers a fully funded Employee Assistance Program to all employees, providing 24-hour counseling assistance to employees and their immediate family members for work, financial, legal, or personal issues.
